Amy Vitt
Mindful Adventure Owner, Instructor

Amy offers a slightly different twist on creating strength with length, ease of movement-mind-breath, and a more joyful life. She utilizes yoga postures, corrective and functional movement exercises, breathing awareness, mindfulness techniques, and integrative health coaching to bring consciousness to how you sit, stand, walk, move, breathe, think and feel. This new awareness brings other choices for moving, thinking, feeling and being. With time and mindful attention, you begin to shift these interrelated patterns on a deeper level.

Amy is gently encouraging, patient, and mindfully present during each session which she gets to practice a lot with her husband of almost 20 years and their teenage daughter!

What our clients say

  • In addition to having a respectful and nurturing approach to her clients, Ren has high expectations that always help me go further then I think I can go. Her attention to detail and ability to explain which muscles are being used and why is a characteristic which distinguishes her. My sessions with Ren have made a tremendous difference in the way I walk, stand and sit, while significantly reducing my level of discomfort. It’s changed my life.

    JR, Tucson, Arizona
  • I have had a life-long issue with neck problems and headaches. I am hyper-mobile in my pelvis and have a baker’s cyst in my knee.  Ren approaches all of these challenges with a very supportive style.  She provides a personalized, well-researched exercise program and is very focused on improving my body’s motion.  I wish I started with Ren 13 years ago, when I first began Pilates.  Pain in my neck and shoulders has improved dramatically, as has my overall strength.

  • Robin

Ren is a top-notch instructor. After nearly 6 years of practicing Pilates, I’m love that I’m still learning so much. Ren’s knowledge, expertise, and intuition enable her to choose just the right exercise and equipment to address an individual’s specific needs. A keen observer of movement, she provides clear tactile, visual, and verbal cues that enable me to more easily connect the dots. Sessions with Ren are always fun. No more boring routines! She enjoys what she does and it shines through in how she works with a student. I trust her completely to do right by my body

  • Toni

I have neuromuscular deficits that have resulted in weakened posture, gait and a loss of muscle mass. After being introduced to Ren Udall and the unique dynamics of Gyrotonic three years ago, I have much more strength in my legs, shoulders, back and core. My body has regained functionality and alignment. My success is due to Ren’s versatile instruction.  She has the innate ability to accurately trouble shoot my areas of weakness and develop relevant movement that promotes healing. It’s my good fortune and honor to do Gyrotonic with Ren!

  • DFHorton, Tucson, Arizona

I came to Ren for a number of reasons, the most significant of which was balance.  I could not stand on one leg.  Now, I can balance barefoot on one leg, all day if needed!  My overall strength and health has greatly improved. Ren is a very caring person who takes the time to listen.  Her understanding of the human body is amazing.  Under her direction, a slight adjustment in movement and the pain is gone.  I would recommend Ren to anyone because she is ‘simply the best.

  • Ina, 60 years old

Ren Udall is my TRX trainer. However, to refer to her as a personal trainer is a misnomer. Ren is a very gifted teacher of body mechanics and a highly perceptive instructor. I have learned so much about the musculoskeletal system and my own body while we work. I am thrilled with the many beneficial effects of my workouts: my core strength is greater than ever before, my balance (a challenge for me) improves every week, and I continue to feel increasingly strong, pain free and healthy. As a soon to be sixty year old, this feels awesome.

  • Jan

The first question I asked was, “Will I be able to go to Guatemala and climb up the Mayan ruins?”  With Ren’s guidance, the answer was yes!  Ren stands apart because she makes a connection to YOU, the student.  Sessions with her are interactive as she assesses and re-assesses what your body needs.  As a bonus: you do not gain bulk and you never leave in pain!  Even with arthritis and stenosis present in my body, I continue to improve in strength, flexibility and balance, while being able to stay off of pain medications.  My improvement is noticeable my friends and especially appreciated by my children.
