What is a workout like?
Begin by moving the spine in all directions: arch, curl, twist right, twist left, and side bend each way. Continue through families of exercises that simultaneously strengthen and open the feet, ankles, knees, hips, abdominals, shoulders, wrists, and hands. Stimulate the circulatory, lymphatic and nervous systems. The Gyrotonic specialized equipment is very adjustable and be used to both support and challenge your specific needs. It’s intention is to promote ease of motion, while working with resistance. Movements are continuous, dynamic, and three-dimensional. After regular workouts, you’ll experience space in your joints, freedom in your spine, lean and toned muscle tissue, and better overall health.
